After moving back to San Diego in 2012 having been gone for 18 years, the opportunity arose in Rick’s ministry life to choose where he wanted to go to church. After visiting Mosaic with his wife and three boys, they have been here ever since. With 26 years of Pastoral and Para church ministry, Rick serves as the Executive Pastor at Mosaic SD, where he helps with the business side of things as well as well as serving on the Navigator team.
He is passionate about disciple making, and diving deep in his journey with Jesus. He cares deeply about people distant from God and helping them journey with Jesus. Outside of Mosaic, Rick is the Executive Director for Global Frontiers Project, a non-profit missions and consulting organization. With his ministry work, he has traveled extensively to about 53 countries. One of his recent trips includes the Ukraine, where he mingled with the protesters in Kiev’s Maidan Square.
Outside of Mosaic, Marc is CEO and Director of Strategy at Youme Foundation, a nonprofit which empowers communities in need through collaborative, repurposing projects. A lover of stories that change the way we see the world, Marc enjoys TV, film and books – especially works by Steinbeck, McCarthy, Dostoyevsky, Woolf and C.S. Lewis. He also enjoys sports, plays drums, keys and bass in the worship band and loves travel. So far, New Zealand, where he and his wife Lauren honeymooned, is his favorite destination.
A Northern California native, Cindy moved to San Diego to finish school and a teaching credential. She lives with her husband Tim, and now calls this city home. Since 2005, the pair have lead missions teams, working with orphans at Youth Care Ministries located Malawi. When she’s not serving the church or teaching, you can find doing almost anything outdoors related.
Her favorite scripture passage is Acts 2:4 2-47 – the true picture church acting in relationship with and sacrifice for others.
